CANADA: Regina Food Bank’s New Indoor Farm Supplies Fresh Greens Year-Round

The 40-foot hydroponic unit, manufactured by Ottawa-based company Growcer, can produce between 600 and 800 heads of lettuce each week. The food bank says the lettuce will be distributed to clients through its hamper program and other food assistance services.
